Installation of electric butterfly valve mainly needs to pay attention to the following two points:

1. The installation position, height and inlet and outlet direction must meet the design requirements. Note that the direction of medium flow should be consistent with the arrow direction marked by the valve body, and the connection should be firm and tight.

2. Electric butterfly valve must be inspected for appearance before installation, and the nameplate of the valve should comply with the current national standard GB 12220 of "universal valve mark". For the valve with working pressure greater than 1.0mpa and having the function of cutting off the main pipe, the strength and strict performance test should be conducted before installation, and the valve must be used after passing the qualification. During the strength test, the test pressure shall be 1.5 times of the nominal pressure and the duration shall be no less than 5min. The valve shell and packing shall be qualified if there is no leakage. During the tightness test, the test pressure is 1.1 times of the nominal pressure.
